Along with his new Edinburgh stand up show 'Climb Every Molehill", Hal is to appear in a new adaptation of the George Orwell book,'Coming Up For Air'. The piece, adapted for the stage by Dominic Cavendish, the Daily Telegraph theatre reviewer, is to be performed at the Assembly Rooms at 11am from August 2nd to the 25th. A funny but very moving piece about nostalgia, middle age and the smothering of dreams by a hum drum life. Despite doing a sketch show, 'Monkey Butlers' three years ago, this is Hal's first appearance in a play for twelve years.
